ask and ye shall receive.
unfortunately, my grandma's aunt Margarete passed away last week. we will all miss her. she was a wonderful women who led a fabulous life. but she is happy now. she now can see and feel the truth of the gospel in her life and is with her husband again. i am truly thankful for the plan of salvation and the comfort it brings to my life.
heavenly father has an interesting way of answering prayers though. we have all been praying that Margarete will be comfortable with the things she was going through at the end of her life. we prayed that she would be at peace. we got those blessings. she passed peacefully in her sleep with her niece (my grandma) and dear friend by her side. the interesting part of these prayers being answered is that i also got peace about some silly things that i had been hoping for.
the day after i wrote my last post we got a dining room table with 2 real chairs. a chair for extra seating in our living room. i even got a sewing machine. all from aunt Margarete
its amazing what happens if you're patient and see the good in what you have. blessings really do come.

someday.
someday I will go here. or, somewhere as beautiful as here.
but in reality..
someday we will have a real table with real chairs, instead of a card table with folding chairs.
someday we will have more then just a couch for people to sit.
someday we will have a house large enough for people to be able to actually sit on that extra seating.
someday we will both have jobs that we love and make enough money to support a family.
someday we will have children to call our own.
the ones that when they cry, we can't give back to their parents because we're them.
the ones that may drive you crazy half the time but you love them no matter what because they are yours.
the ones that will be raised in the gospel and will be part of our eternal family.
someday i won't have to go to work and i'll be able to stay home and take care of my babies full time.
someday i won't have to go to work and i'll be able to stay home and take care of my babies full time.
this i what i look forward to the most.
someday these things and more will be part of our lives.
but for now i will enjoy living with just the two of us in our tiny apartment with our folding card table and limited seating
and enjoy every minute of it because i know that even with just that, we have much more then a lot of people do. because we truly are blessed. because i am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband to spend eternity with. a husband who lifts me up when i am down and will listen to me complain about the things that we don't have and helps me put these things into perspective.
because I know that someday we will look back
because I know that someday we will look back
and think to ourselves "those were the days"

ReCaP
January 2010:
patrick proposed on new years eve of 2009, so we start the year being engaged. is there anything better then that?
feburary 2010:
the 16th of this month marked 1 year since our first official date at castles n' coasters.
we also went to california this month to take engagement pictures, and go to the happiest place on earth.
patrick also graduated from massage school!!
march 2010:
plan plan plan. planning for the wedding as much as i could during spring break.
patrick got is license for massage therapy. yea yea yea!!
patrick got is license for massage therapy. yea yea yea!!
april:
patrick's sister jessica had her baby, dean!
unfortunately, i don't have a picture of him on this computer. but take my word for it, he's the cutest little guy ever!
may:
my wonderful sisters and mom threw me a bridal shower. it was so much fun. it even included a song preformed my my mom, grandma karin, aunt julie, family friends sally and summer. complete with costumes and dancing. the song was "super trouper" from mama mia.
as soon as i find the video of it i will post it. it's the best thing you will have ever seen! but for now, here's a picture.
i also got many needed and wanted things as gifts from my amazing friends and family.
hehe.
june:
happy birthday to patrick!
also....happy wedding day to us! june 25th we were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. i'm seriously the luckiest women ever!
after the wedding, we honeymooned in prescott, az. we went to several antique shops, ate some delicious food, and enjoyed being a newly married couple.
july:
happy birthday to me!
patrick spoiled me this day. he's awesome.
august:
we went to california again. one of patrick's companions from his mission was getting married, so it was a good excuse. we went to old town san diego and heard some awesome music, went to the san diego zoo, and visited my cousins. if you want to see pics and what not i posted about it earlier.
september:
i got a new job as an eye technition at nationwide vision.
october:
halloween! for halloween this year, we went to our old ward's trunk-or-treat. i came straight from work so i wore my scrubs with a stethascope and was a doctor. boring, i know.
patrick's costume however was pretty sweet. he was a zombie. he had the ripped up clothes, make up and all. the best part about his costume was when we were passing out candy. he played the dead person part well and was freaking the kids out.
needless to say, it was awesome
november:
thanksgiving! we spent the first part of the day with the cowgurs, and then went up to payson that afternoon for lunner (between lunch and dinner) with my grandparents and family.
december:
before the awesome day of christmas, we welcomed another niece into the world. patrick's sister christina had her baby, charlotte. she is the tinest baby i have ever held! she's way cute. unlike dean, i do have a picture of her. can't see her face that well though. :(
on christmas we spent the whole day with family. unfortunately, i was sick and got patrick sick. but that's ok, we still had a great day!
the week of new years eve patrick and our brother in law, cary took a day trip to new mexico to get some fireworks. you know, the one's that actually go boomb instead of just sparkle? ya.
we lit them on new years eve. the cops showed up in the neighborhood no there were no trips to the popo station or anything. woot.
and now it's 2011. time to set goals and hope that this year is even better then the last. good luck to all of our family and friends this year. love you all!
